Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black cherry and menthol bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild oak influenced plum with notes of gentle minerality. I also detected a hint of black raspberry and black olive. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for a little while. This Cab would pair well the slow cooked Brazilian beef brisket and coffee pie. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense purple color. Aroma: Great intensity with ripe red and black fruits notes such as blueberry and cassis along with some black pepper notes. Flavor: Full-bodied with firm, mature and integrated tannins. Very long and persistent finish.
