Wine Review: This slightly opaque dark ruby colored Cabernet from Argentina opens black raspberry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a juicy plum with notes of boysenberry and touch of blackberry. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and mild dusty tannins linger for quite some time. This Cab will appeal to Aussie Shiraz fans. I would serve it with barbecue Angus steak tips or a sliced baguette with Great Hill blue cheese and fig spread. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ruby red with purple highlights. Intense aroma of red fruits like cherries and strawberries, with spicy, vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it is complex with fruity, refined structure and long finish.
