Wine Review: I served this organic Sauvignon Blanc at a "Green Party" on St. Patrick's Day. It was a big hit. It is pale yellow colored and opens with a green pear and mild lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile continues to be an Anjou pear and lime. There is a hint of pineapple mixed in as well. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. Pair this wine with chicken quesadilla’s by the pool this summer. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 16th vintage out of our hillside vineyard that we call Randle Hill. Randle is Deborah's maiden name. This vineyard has consistently produced one of the best SBs around and we're very proud of it. It is fruit filled, concentrated, rich and opulent, with limeade or lemondrop candy flavor. Aromas of pineapple and lime, with an underlaying earthy or musky note. Finishes with a blast of lime and minerals. Outstanding with virtually any fish dish or as an aperitif.
