Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot from New Zealand opens with an attractive mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and friendly. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with hints of pomegranate and red currant. The finish is dry and subtle. This quaffable Pinot would nicely complement a grilled salmon filet. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby with crimson hues. Ripe plum and bottled cherry fruit flavours, underlined with game and truffle complexities and oak char and spice. The palate is precise and balanced, with a fine tannin struture and a supple, velvety texture. Layers of flavour are revealed and linger on the long finish. Serve with all game and red meat dishes.
