Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant red raspberry, strawberry and cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, slightly acidic, yet has a soft mouth feel. The flavor profile is a spicy black currant and red raspberry blend with notes of oak and plum. The finish is dry and its black currant and oak flavors linger for a while. It reminds me a bit of a South African wine. I would pair it with a grilled burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark plums, cherry, cola and leather are present in this wine's aroma. The soft vanilla tones from the oak blend perfectly with the intense fruit core and soft tannins, providing complexity and balance and leading to a lingering finish.
