Wine Review: This light yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre was well received by the panel. It opens with a mild honey and green apple bouquet with a hint of lemongrass. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and refined. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild green apple and mellow lemon with a hint of honey. The finish is dry and rather pleasant. The panel thought this Sauvignon Blanc was quite a quaffer and very versatile. They suggested pairing it with Coquille St. Jacques or poached salmon with wild rice. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Pale gold with green hints. Very expressive, intense and complex nose with boxwood, rhubarb, black currant, kiwi fragrances and a light vegetal touch (marigold). The entry is soft and round. Bright and fresh on the palate, with a delicate and lively purity. Well-balanced and harmonious, it ends with a clean, lingering finish.
