Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc quintessentially New Zealand styled at first whiff! It opens with a fragrant gooseberry and pine bouquet with hints of cut grass and vegetal overtones. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and tangy. The flavor profile is a tart lime and green apple with notes of white grapefruit, green pepper and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its green pepper notes continue to linger. We suggested pairing this wine with Mexican dishes or paella on a hot summer night. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A beautifully pure and lively wine, overflowing with aromas of ripe gooseberry, and passionfruit with hints of grapefruit, lime and nettle. The wine is concentrated and juicy with vibrant fruit and fantastic mid palate weight, finishing with a crisp fresh acidity. Serve with Grilled fish, tomato, green bean and feta cheese salad. Enjoy now and until 2013.
