Wine Review: This cherry red colored Rose is one of the better Rose's I have covered this year. It opens with a fragrant maraschino cherry and Shirley Temple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and easy to drink with no hard edges. The flavor profile is a gentle ripe black cherry with a hint of tangerine and just a touch of minerality and strawberry. The finish is dry and pleasantly fades away. This is a very nice rose and will be a crowd pleaser this summer. It will pair very well with many foods. Grilled beef satay came to mind. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A lush and fruity dry rosé blend of Grenache (36%), Syrah (34%) and old-vine Carignane (30%) similar to the rosé wines of Provence. With its fresh raspberry fruit aromas combined with ripe cherry flavors, this delicately balanced wine with lively acidity pairs nicely with most appetizers, roasted meats and savory cheeses.
