Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Syrah opens with a mild blueberry and gentle oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a pleasant plum and blackberry with notes of integrated oak with a hint of blueberry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger for quite some time. This Syrah is very good. I would pair it with Ragu Bolognese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is our fourth vintage for this interesting grape. Aged in new french oak, this wine is a little young but shows more fruit than last year. This is an even bigger wine. The abundant fruit masks the relatively high alcohol.
