Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with a hint of black pepper and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, lively, fruit forward and very juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry with notes of black pepper, plum and a hint of red currant. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and moderate tannins linger and stick around for quite a while. I would pair this wine with eggplant parmigianna. Enjoy – Ken
