Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot opens with a very fragrant black currant bouquet with notes of raspberry jam and plum as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a spicy oak influenced blueberry with notes of black currant intertwined. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins are dusty and linger for a while. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich, smoky aromas of plum, wild strawberry, and rhubarb; accented with subtle notes of citrus blossom and tea. The mouth is silky-smooth, with flavors of cranberry, black cherry, and sweet vanilla. Bright acidity and delicate tannins focus the palate and provide a lingering finish of spice and red fruit.
