Wine Review: This yellow colored Chard opens with a very mild melon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and a bit creamy. The flavor profile is mineral focused with mild green apple and lemon flavors in the background. There is also a bit of light oak and butter on the back palate. The finish is dry, tingly, and refreshing. We found this Chard to go down very easy and very food friendly. Pair it with halibut. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Liquid sunlight in a glass, our Chardonnay delight the palate with aromas of poached pear, lemon creme, and bright white honeysuckle. A full, viscous mouth is balanced, by classic Trefethen fruit - bright and crisp pear and lemon. A little vanilla, butterscotch, and cooking herbs linger in the background and tickle the tongue during a nice, long finish.
