Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Pinot Grigio opens with an attractive fragrant cantaloupe bouquet with hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a mild Bosc pear with hints of minerality and touch of quinine towards the end. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. This Pinot Grigio is food friendly and would pair well with crab stuffed flounder or just crab cakes with tarter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Unterebner is our best Pinot Grigio, and shows a deep straw color and a nose dominated by spicy aromas. On the palate, it balances mineral notes with considerable fatness richness. The finish feels long and lasting. We recommend pairing this wine with appetizers and pasta dishes, fish, shellfish or with delicately flavored meats.
