Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc from Northern Italy is a very nice food wine. It is pale yellow colored an opens with a very attractive bouquet. The aromas are mild lime with a hint of gooseberry and coconut. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and zesty. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tart lime with a touch of pear. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I think this wine would pair perfectly with herb roasted chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Sauvignon is elegant and aromatic. Greenish in color with yellow hues, this wine expresses the typical varietal profile of Sauvignon: racy, with distinctive flavors of melon, grapefruit and grass, followed by spicy green peppers and gooseberry notes. A refined wine that pairs well with fish, shellfish and grilled white meats.
