Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens musty mild yellow grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, tangy and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a tart grapefruit with hints of lime and a touch of minerality. The finish is rather dry and its flavors linger for a little while after it's gone. This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Hints of classic Marlborough Sauvignon herbal qualities complement other complex characteristics of fig, litchi, and hay. Floral aromas commingle with subtle grapefruit and crisp lemon to round out the flavor profile and add the right amount of integrated complexity. The middle mouth is very round and full, yet perfectly balanced with the food-friendly acid that permeates the wine's backbone. The mouth-watering finish lingers on the pallet allowing for lengthy enjoyment until the next sip is taken.
