Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot opens with a mild red currant and gentle black cherry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with hints of sour cherry, black pepper, cranberry and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and mild tannins stick around for a little bit. This wine is a good bacon burger wine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A soft and sultry Merlot with characteristics of dried berries and mint. Earthy and rich, this wine has a long, flavorful finish. With its smooth, supple tannins, it pairs especially well with grilled red meats, herb roasted chicken, pork chops, red-sauced pastas and flavorful hard cheeses.
