Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a red licorice and strawberry bouquet with hints of clove, cherry, dried sage and lilac. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is also mouthwatering and quite juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty stewed red plum and red raspberry blend with notes of cinnamon and pomegranate. We also detected hints of white pepper, green tea, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The finish is dry and its tingly acidity, flavors and resolved tannins linger for a bit. The Panel would pair this Pinot with lamb lollipops, smoked crispy chicken wings and Filho’s mushroom ravioli. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, you'll discover hibiscus, cranberry, and fresh clove. Silky tannins seduce your palate, complemented by notes of toasted pie crust and ripe cherry, making this a quintessential example of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
