Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa opens with a fragrant lime and grapefruit like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused gentle grapefruit with notes of lime and hints of quinine and white pepper. The finish is dry and rather refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc would be a perfect pool wine for a hot summer day. A second glass is a must. I would serve it with bacon wrapped scallops or oysters. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This crisp Sauvignon Blanc offers intense, juicy flavors of lime, melon and tropical fruit. It combines lively acidity with hallmark grassiness and an elegant minerality.
