Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc display lots of very tiny bubbles when first poured. It opens with a fragrant wet stone, apple, and green pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp and tangy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused slightly tart green apple with a hint of lime. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine would be perfect for a hot summer day at a clambake with steamers with drawn butter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Elgin's cool maritime climate allows for slower ripening than in other areas of the Cape Winelands, resulting in wines that possess vibrant, concentrated fruit flavors and elegant mineral notes. This lively, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc flaunts mouthwatering flavors of gooseberry, grapefruit and citrus tinged with gorgeously pure minerality.
