Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot opens with a raspberry and musty oak bouquet with notes of tobacco. We also detected a hint of coconut. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and round. The flavor profile is plum with mild oak nicely blended in. The panel detected hints of green pepper, cranberry and a touch of black pepper as well. The finish is dry and slightly prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this easy going Pinot with barbecue chicken or grilled bratwurst. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Crafted exclusively from estate fruit grown on our Dundee Hills property, this Jeunes Vignes (Junior Vines) bottling showcases the bright, pure fruit of our vineyard site and is made in an elegant, approachable style. Aromas of ripe red raspberries, Bing cherries, floral notes of lilac and violets, barrel spices of cinnamon and clove, and herb de Provence (lavender and green herbal tones/tea leaf). The palate features bramble berry flavors, bright acidity and medium tannins with a real purity of red fruit flavors.
