Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Franc from Stephen Kent is a winner. It opens with a fragrant red plum and red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and very approachable. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild red plum with notes of oak and very nicely integrated mild minerality. I also detected hints of cranberry, cocoa and a dash of black pepper in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed moderate tannins show very nice length. This gem is food friendly and would pair perfectly with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
