Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough opens with a mild gooseberry bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and nicely balanced between its fruit and gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a nice blend of gooseberry and grapefruit with hints of minerality, white pepper and lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair well with Thai food. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A pure and classy Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc expressing concentrated passionfruit and gooseberry aromas and mineral characters. Dry to taste, the palate displays racy acidity offering smooth textures enabling the passionfruit and gooseberry flavours to flow seamlessly through the palate. The wine is harmoniously balanced with a crisp lingering finish.
