Wine Review: This dark orange colored ice style wine is typically one of my favorite dessert wines each year. This year, I had a chance to share it with the tasting panel and they agreed it was terrific. They also liked the price and the value it delivers. It opens with an apricot, orange, and honey bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, lush, and rich. The flavor profile is a ripe quince with notes of apricot. We also detected hints of raisins, honey and orange marmalade mixed in as well. The finish remains sweet and lingers for quite some time after the wine is gone. The panel suggested drinking this one on its own or with bread pudding. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Wow - always the first descriptor. Then layers of flavor pour forth: apricot, honey, hazlenut, and more.
