Wine Review: This pale straw colored Kabinett level Riesling finished in second place in our first blind flight of Rieslings at this level. It opens with a flinty wet rock and orange peel like bouquet with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, mildly sweet and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral infused gentle grapefruit with hints of apricot, honey, and Earl Grey tea. The finish is semi-sweet and subtle. The panel suggested pairing this tasty Riesling with Peking ravioli or sesame chicken. Enjoy – KWGTP
