Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling with be a crowd pleaser. It opens with a wet shale like bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused green apple with notes of pineapple. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Riesling would be perfect with grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: An elegant, crisp and fruity Riesling with a hint of natural residual sweetness. This wine has the typical light character of the Riesling grape and the style of a classic Mosel Riesling. Best served as aperitif or as companion to Tapas, Scampis, roasted fish or Thai cuisine. "Solo" enjoyed, it is a guarantor for long pleasant and comfortable evenings. Very approachable now, this vintage will be at its best 2012-14, and will hold until at least 2017.
