Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling opens with a mild and attractive ripe apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, delicate and slightly crisp. The flavor profile is a delicious ripe Anjou pear and pineapple blend with a hint of apple. The finish is pleasantly sweet and friendly. This wine would pair well with quiche Lorraine. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A characterful, juicy and fruity Riesling from the Saar Valley. The grapes for this wine were especially late harvested. The nose is redolent of floral notes, especially elderflower and lilac, and combined with a vibrant and juicy palate - classic characteristics of the Ockfener Bockstein, which the wines display year after a year. The great terroir of this famous vineyard is also immediately recognizable by its fine, silky texture.
