Wine Review: This light colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a very fragrant gooseberry bouquet with a hint of ripe peaches and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is slightly acidic, yet round. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe grapefruit with notes of integrated minerality. We also detected hints of white pepper and peach. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. The panel suggested pairing this wine with chicken and shrimp paella or bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine presents with brilliant hues of pale yellow pierced by youthful streaks of green. Opulent aromas of grapefruit, lemon rind and subtle caper are enveloped by a seductive background of toasted vanillin oak, evident of the barrel fermentation component. Crisp flavors of grapefruit follow with key lime, a hint of orange marmalade and a roasted French oak background. This is a terrific Sauvignon Blanc with tremendous intensity of flavor, yet an elegant appeal. Enjoy!
