Wine Review: This white gold colored Viognier from Washington state opens with a fragrant pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous and, juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe pear with hints of peach and touch of dried apricot. The finish is pleasant and its pear flavors linger nicely. This wine is very friendly and would pair well with five fruit chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A magnificent continuation of the Skylite Viognier vintages. Again... 2009 is perfectly balanced, and typifies what the Viognier grape was intended to deliver - in flavor - nose - mouth feel and finish. Skylite Cellars Viognier is crafted to perfection.
