Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a mild peach and wet stone bouquet with a hint of green pepper. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild green pear with hints of green pepper, mild lemon and minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This wine would pair well with many foods. I would select chicken picatta. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2011 Sivas-Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc is fragrant with aromas of lime, kiwi and white tropical fruits and just a dash of minerality. Lush fruit flavors of guava, lychee fruit and Meyer lemon flood the palate. This Sauvignon Blanc is medium-bodied yet focused, crisp and clean, with a bright refreshing finish that lingers pleasantly.
