Wine Review: This light ruby colored Pinot from Oregon opens with a fragrant oak infused strawberry bouquet. On the palate, it is medium bodied, nicely balanced, very smooth, and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild strawberry and oak blend with a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are gentle and linger nicely. I loved how elegant and food friendly this Pinot was. It would pair perfected with herb encrusted pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Schindler Pinot Noir is big, dark and well structured. It is our most "Burgundian" Pinot, mostly in its acids and tannins. It reminds me of the highly successful 2005 Burgundies with an additional fruit component. Of all the Sineann 2008 Pinots, this may the best candidate for extended aging.
