Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Barbara will appeal to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc fans. It opens with a mineral and mild grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a tasty grapefruit with notes of lime and nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would suggest pairing this wine with garlic chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2010 Sauvignon Blanc has pronounced aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit and fresh cut grass. On the palate, this distinctive California Sauvignon Blanc is clean and crisp with gooseberry and tangerine notes and a slight trace of minerality. The acidity is mouthwatering and zingy and is followed by a lightly tart finish. SeaGlass Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect companion to oysters and light seafood pastas.
