Wine Review: Another well-crafted and put together Mirabelle by Schramsberg. On the nose, this is alive with fresh berry and citrus notes. There is a hint of mountain bay leaf as well. On the palate, the huckleberry, cassis, pomegranate, and dragon fruit come forth while hints of mint, ginger, and toast hang back. I would say that the Mirabelle Rose is almost as good as the Estate Rose. An A+ effort with an A+ result. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: The Mirabelle Rose has generous aromas of raspberry compote, strawberry, cherry and currant. The red fruit on the nose is delicately joined with hints of pineapple and guava. Bright, bursting flavors of cherry and wild raspberry are complimentary to the aromas. The palate is tangy on entry with a mouthwatering acidity, and a long lingering finish.
