Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from Schloss Saarstein is Excellent! It opens with a fragrant and inviting ripe Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate this wine is light bodied, refined and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a delicious ripe peach with notes of apple, fig and apricot. I also detected a hint of minerality. It is a pretty complex Riesling. The finish remains sweet and refined. This delicious Riesling is classy and would pair perfectly with Asian dishes. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A racy and elegant wine, dense with mineral notes. It shows a clear and fine bouquet of citrus, pineapple, black currant and dry apple. Fresh and elegant acidity.
