Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with fragrant yellow grapefruit bouquet with a hint of pear. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, quite acidic and lively. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit with notes of lime. I also detected some hints of minerality as well. The finish is dry and very refreshing. This wine would pair well with swordfish skewers off the grill this summer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with green hues. A lifted nose showing aromas of passion fruit, white peach and grapefruit with refreshing herbal and mineral notes. Light bodied and refreshing with typical Marlborough flavours of passion fruit, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing herbaceous thread leads to a long lingering finish. Enjoy it on its own or with seafood or chicken served with grilled vegetables or fresh salad.
