Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a very fragrant yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of peach pit and orange. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, quite acidic and rather crisp. The flavor profile is a tart grapefruit with notes of minerality and tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This wine would be a very nice pool wine. I would serve it with spring rolls or bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with a green hue. Intense aromas of blackcurrant and passionfruit, with a subtle herbal note. A full, crisp and powerful wine showing intense flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant, with underlying grapefruit tones. This wine has a full yet elegant palate, subtle minerality and a well balanced long, lingering finish. Perfect for drinking immediately this wine will be at its best over the next two years. An ideal match with antipasto, grilled seasonal vegetables or fresh seafood.
