Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a very fragrant ripe grapefruit bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp and has nicely controlled and mouthwatering acidity. The flavor profile is a ripe grapefruit with hints of lime, peach, and very mild minerality. The finish is dry and its refreshing flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This is an ideal summer wine and would pair nicely with lobster risotto and oysters. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with green hues. A lifted nose showing aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant, grapefruit and nettles with refreshing underlying mineral notes. Light bodied and refreshing with typical Marlborough flavours of gooseberry, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing mineral note leads to a long lingering finish. Perfect for drinking immediately, this Sauvignon Blanc will be at its best over the next two years. Enjoy it on its own or with seafood or chicken served with grilled vegetables or fresh salad.
