Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored wine opens with fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acid and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild black plum and mild black currant blend with a hint of old oak and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are subtle. This Pinot is pretty friendly and would pair well with vegetable lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark glossy garnet core with purple hues on the rim. A concentrated nose with black cherry, wild blackberry and sweet ripe raspberry, complemented by aromatics of violets, dried thyme and a touch of spice. A luscious and elegant full palate with delicious black fruits - boysenberries, blackberries, and blueberries. A refined, elegant structure supports a rich complex toasty finish with spice and amazing length. Beautifully matched with duck casserole, rare venison steaks or warm pumpkin and feta salad.
