Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Portugal is very impressive, given the price point. It opens with a black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of blueberry and gentle oak. I also detected hints of faint minerality. The finish is dry and its refined tannins linger and last for a while. I would suggest pairing this very good value offering with grilled bourbon marinated steak tips. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fruity aroma with very elegant and discreet minerality in balance with barrel ageing notes. Berries, spices, subtle notes of vanilla and toast. Fruity and persistent with fresh and elegant aftertaste. Try it with beef roasts, Iberian ham and cheeses.
