Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a mild lime and gentle grapefruit bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, crisp, and a touch viscous. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Anjou pear with hints of spice and lime. The finish is dry and pleasant. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with steamed mussels. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2009 Roth Sauvignon Blanc, its debut vintage, has distinct tropical characters with fragrant lychee and lively pineapple flavors. To maintain the brightness and delicate flavors, the wine was aged exclusively in stainless steel.
