Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with grapefruit bouquet with a hint lime and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, juicy, and very flavorful. The flavor profile is a tasty mild grapefruit with nicely integrated minerality and pleasant green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger well after the wine is gone. This Fume Blanc will pair well with grilled swordfish skewers and roasted veggies. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Fume Blanc captures the distinctive personality of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes grown in Napa Valley's Oakville region. Enticing citrus, melon and quince notes intertwine with hints of orange blossom, lemongrass and cinnamon in the aromas and crisp, balanced flavors. Although the wine is dry, there is an impression of sweet fruit on the silky palate and lingering finish.
