Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a refreshing nose of lychee and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine was light to medium bodied, viscous and pleasantly sweet. We detected flavors of honeysuckle, ripe pear and apple blossom. It has a nice lingering finish of delicate fruit. With regards to a food pairing with this Vouvray, we would suggest a seafood casserole. - Karen & Stuart

Winemaker Notes: Our Vouvray is pale yellow colored with some green tints. On the nose, it displays some fresh fruit aroma's featuring apples and peach. This is a well-structured wine. Its balance is represented by good acidity, typical of Vouvray's limestone terroir, offset by residual sugars. Its persistent white fleshed fruit notes reappear on the finish. Pair it with spicy cuisine, including Thai.
