Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cab from Washington opens with a coffee laced blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a pleasant blend of black cherry and vanilla oak. The finish is quite dry and its substantial tannins show noteworthy persistence. This big Cab is a very good offering and I would pair it with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A monster wine known as "Jack the Gripper", armed with cutting tannins dripping with deep garnet red. Jammy - grape, cassis, plum, and coffee grinds slash at your palate then linger like a cigar to be soothed by a salve of dried, dark fruit, and coconut. - Chuck Reininger, Winemaker
