Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Syrah opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with hints of blueberry and menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and polished. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle black currant with notes of blueberry, espresso, and oak with a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show decent length. The panel suggested pairing is Washington State Syrah with beef bourguignon or a Tomato, Feta and Olive Tapenade. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This delectable wine is characterized by sumptuous buckets of sun-ripened blueberry, lavender and a wee-bit of orange zest on the nose. Once you sip, its flavors unfold, revealing blueberry, subtle smoke and juicy red pomegranate. The palate is round, smooth and ready, like a succulent filet mignon. Drink this baby now or delight in its glory after a rest in your cellar. - Justin Vajgert
