Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant black raspberry bouquet with hints of boysenberry and kirsch. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very juicy and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral and smoky oak infused blackberry compote with notes of plum and black licorice. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruit linger for a bit. This Zinfandel will pair well with homemade meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
