Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant black raspberry bouquet with a hint of soy sauce and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a spicy black currant with notes of black raspberry. I also detected some oak and black pepper in the background as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly sticky. The mini-tasting group that covered this Zin, thought it would pair well with grilled red snapper. Enjoy - Ken
