Wine Review: This brilliant ruby colored Zin was the winner of our recent mini-flight of new release Zins. It opens with a mild fresh wild berry bouquet with notes of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, juicy, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild black raspberry with a hint of plum and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up and stick with you for sometime. This Zin is very enjoyable and would pair well with many foods. Beef brisket came to mind for me. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a strong year for Dickerson Vineyard. A bright medium red, it is bursting with bright, red raspberry scents, Asian spices, flowers, and minerals, topped with perfect levels of acidity. The long, focused finish has full, ripe tannins and hints of mint and chocolate. Classic Dickerson. – Joel Peterson
