Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot opens with a spicy blackberry bouquet with a hint of coffee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, soft, and elegant. The flavor profile is blueberry and blackberry with hints of currant and black olive. The finish is dry and its light tannins are slightly prolonged. The panel felt this wine would pair well with an antipasto and a veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Lively aromatics of pomegranate, red currants, clove, vanilla, with hints of green tea and tangerine zest. Notes of toffee, black cherry, and exotic spices linger subtly in the background. The palate opens with flavors of pomegranate, red current and vanilla spice. On the mid palate the flavors shift to fig, maple, and dark chocolate. Round velvety texture makes this wine accessible now. The finish is graceful with flavors of cherry chocolate.
