Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Riesling from Washington State opens with a mild lime bouquet with a hint of pineapple and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and shows gentle citrus acidity. The flavor profile is a mild Anjou pear with notes of lime and a touch of integrated minerals. The finish is semi-dry and with the lime and mineral notes lingering nicely. This wine would work real well with your Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Freshly peeled grapefruit, an appealing minerality, and a hint of ripe pear define the 2008 Poet's Leap Riesling. Bright acidity gives the wine its vibrancy and a clean, underlying touch of sweetness contributes to a lengthy finish.
