Wine Review: This white gold colored blend is consistently very good. I have not covered it in a while and was impressed with this vintage. It opens with a mild apricot bouquet with a hint wet stone and apple. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear with notes of nicely integrated minerality with a touch of lemon. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine would pair perfectly with steamers with drawn butter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2009 bottling of this distinctive blend presents a fragrant bouquet of fresh fruit notes including Asian pear, pomelo and lychee, touched with a delicate floral layer of jasmine blossom and kaffir lime leaf. On the palate, enjoy a slightly off-dry harmony of fruit flavors including honeydew melon, ruby red grapefruit, juicy white peach and crisp golden apple. Bright acidity and a clean, refreshing finish round out this wonderfully radiant and delightful wine.
