Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a very fragrant yellow grapefruit and bananas bouquet with hints of lime, apricot and crushed oyster shell. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is a saline and tart yellow grapefruit blend with notes of lime pith. We also detected hints of stony minerality, granny smith apple and chervil. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger for a while. Winemaker Notes: Opens with luscious heady aromas of white peach, kiwi, tangerine juice, pineapple, and limes. On the palate it is bold, round and refreshing, layered with flavors of homemade lemon bars, cold peach juice, nectarine flesh, sweet grapefruit, fig jam, and pie crust.
